Jamail & Smith Construction is re-selected as their Job Order Contractor for Houston ISD

(July 30, 2010 - Houston, Texas) - Houston Independent School District (HISD) announced at the May 13th board meeting that Jamail & Smith Construction was re-selected for the Job Order Contract (JOC) construction program. As a Job Order Contractor for HISD, Jamail & Smith Construction will provide on-call construction services for facilities modifications and repairs for various HISD campuses. Jamail & Smith Construction has been providing construction services to HISD since 1999. They played an integral part in getting the 2004 construction bond program on track by providing safety and security upgrades at most HISD schools and buildings and built science labs at every elementary school.
